55% Cotton / 45% Polyester | An AWMA® Original Since the 1970s

The ProForce® 10 oz. Heavyweight Karate Uniform is a true original with deep roots in martial arts history. First introduced in the early 1970s, it became the first cotton/polyester blend karate uniform ever produced, at a time when uniforms were made exclusively from 100% cotton.

That blended fabric improved durability, wrinkle resistance, and wash-and-wear convenience while maintaining the structure instructors expected. The design quickly gained acceptance among instructors and competitors and remains one of AWMA®’s most trusted and best-selling uniforms decades later!

Made from a 55% cotton / 45% polyester heavyweight fabric, this uniform provides a professional look suitable for daily training. The full-cut sizing allows unrestricted movement while preserving a classic appearance.

Jacket Construction

Reinforced stress points and an added shoulder layer improve durability. A 1.5-inch collar with six rows of stitching, reinforced wrist hems, and a durable jacket hem help maintain structure through repeated use.

Pant Construction

Designed for mobility and stability, the pants feature a diamond gusseted crotch for deeper stances and higher kicks. Reinforced seams and stitched hems support long-term training wear. Waistband styles vary by size and color.
